CONTEXT

Transport is one of the most negative sector regarding environmental impacts :

•  Emissions
•  Global warming due to greenhouse effect
•  Health impacts
•  Non renewable enrgy consumption,
•  Traffic, noise, etc.

 

Unlike the other activity sectors, any reduction of these negatives impacts cannot be achieve only with technology changes.

It is then necessary to make up strategic and logictic choices in order to promote the most environemental respectful means of tranportation.
