Goods Transportation and environmental impacts
EstiaVIA is an original method to analyse the environmental impacts of transportation flows.
Since May 2005, we had the opportunity of applying this method with:
- (Nestlé food, Danone eaux, Michelin, Schneider Electric, Véolia-environnement, Arc International, etc.)
- (LeShop.ch, Migros, Auchandirect, Telemarket)
- Multimodal transport operators (Ports de Lille, Delta3)
Many of these collaborations help us, to develop logistic strategies, for each different cases, more respectful for the environment or to improve actual practices to be more "virtuous".
Will be analysed in particular:
- The inventory of means of transport used by companies
- Modal shift studies
- The locating choice for goods transportation
- Promoting some practices to reduce the environmental impacts
